The Brief
Dear Dive Bar is a songwriters round series in downtown Charleston at Elliotborough Mini Bar. It happens once a month and each month new artists are featured in an acoustic, intimate setting. We had free range in the design style for the series this year.
Our Thoughts
We wanted to create posters that didn’t stand out from their surroundings, but felt right at home. Our inspiration came from vintage letterpress music posters from back in the day - where simplicity and creativity had to find a balance and produce something exciting to look at. While each show poster is entirely different, the series as a whole will feel cohesive and in the same style. This is an ongoing series, so keep a look out for future posters added to this case study.
